Minister Simon Harris visited the centre on Monday 29th November

On Monday Simon Harris TD, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, visited our Further Education and Training Centre in Celbridge. The Minister met with students and staff, as well as representatives from KWETB. He also met with Youthreach learners who travelled from their centre in Leixlip for the visit.

The Minister spent some time speaking to the Healthcare Support and Business Studies groups and Youthreach learners, who told him about their courses and future goals.

Minister Harris said: “I was thrilled to finally visit the new Celbridge Further Education and Training Centre this week, which now provide learners and staff with the high standard of facilities they deserve.

"This is a really excellent facility at the heart of Celbridge. Importantly, it has excellent links with Youthreach too. Further Education and Training is available in every community in Ireland, and offers every individual, regardless of any previous level of education, a pathway to take them as far as they would like to go. This is perfectly demonstrated by the programmes that are available at Celbridge Further Education and Training Centre.”
