Career Guidance

 

Hi, my name is Shane Barrett and I’m the Adult Education Guidance Counsellor that specialises in Education & Career Guidance for the Celbridge Further Education & Training Centre.

The Adult Education Guidance service is free of charge, and generally covers the following areas;

  • One-to-one career/education guidance to help people make informed life choices

  • Information on all local and national courses

  • CV preparation and interview skills

  • Student application procedures for colleges

  • Information and advice on education grants, rights and entitlements

The Adult Guidance and Information Service is available to all adults, and we provide a professional & impartial career guidance and information service to all adults, prioritising those who are currently not in employment.

Appointments in Celbridge are generally on Wednesdays, however this may change at different stages throughout the year.
